The Motel is only a few miles from Barry's Bay and a few yards from the ATV trail which is located at the rear of the motel and is one of the local winter snowmobiling attractions
Barry's Bay
Barry's Bay is aopproximately 5 kilometres from the motel and lies on the intersection between Highway 60 and Highway 62 South and within Ontario's beautiful Renfrew County. The town is only a short distance from the Algonquin Provincial Park & the Ottawa River, and is an ideal base from which to explore the Madawaska Valley and its abundant wildlife and scenery.

Wilno
Some 4 kilometres in the opposite direction along Highway 60 lies Wilno, an historic polish community and a delightful village to explore. There is a waterfall rushing down the valley to the remains of a small sawmill, a tumbling down pioneer farm with the Ottawa Valley's distinctive blackened cedar logs, a wetland full of cattails and red-winged blackbirds, secluded woodland glens along the rail-bed and picturesque little nooks and crannies all over the village.
